The best Iced Coffee I've ever had. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is what the 4th wise-man brought to Jesus. To anyone who has doubted or been let down by Twin Donuts of years past, please place aside judgement and allow yourself to experience this amazing alternative to the price-climbing dunkin donuts. Plus, they have a parking lot. This place is truly blessed. Oh, and $3 for freshly made eggs, hash browns and toast on a Sunday morning- cannot go wrong. Worth the ridiculous wait.

I want to take my time and dedication for this highly sensitive review. The manager at this place should be consider the worst manager in the world and should be removed from the hospitality field completely. How can this franchise allow someone to manage this place. This franchise allows customer to be bully, harass, and victimized by this bully. Please help this company to remove this person for the sake of the neighborhood and the service.

Apparently it's a chain in the area and it's open 24-7, but if you were to transport me directly inside the store everything besides the color scheme & friendly service screamed Dunkin Donuts, so they may have a lawsuit on their hands. IDK if this one's new or just unreviewed in the Yelp wasteland that is Inwood, but I snagged a 99-cent toasted coconut donut that was actually really fackin' good, even if it tasted even unhealthier than your average donut.

The owner is hands down one of the worst individuals I've had the pleasure of never meeting but have seen his gross treatment of patrons/renters and employees. Never removed snow or when his sign broke they didn't pick up the pieces, but he was on top of parking, he knows the tow truck number.. I never had that issue, the sign may have been the renter but the rest was the owner... But let's get to FOOD, just buy Donuts and only if you can't find them elsewhere. When it reopened about 2years ago more or less. The prices rose and kept rising and the portions fell, and specials are a joke, beautiful pictures and you look at your order and wonder if you ordered it wrong. There was a good Apple turnover that sold for 1.25 then it rose to eventually 3, I asked and they said because it was selling, then no one brought it anymore and it was gone, same story with a flan. The kitchen was never great it was either edible or horrible. Employees behave as they feel and are treated, so that being said, I don't blame them, it's a lack on the owners part. The place is just there to me.

I so wanted to come on Yelp and write rave reviews about how after being under renovations for the last month or two (three, maybe?) this place was back in action and better than ever. Unfortunately, this is not the case. While pre-renovations this was my go-to place with my dad for coffee and whole wheat doughnuts (super awesome), it seems to be no more. The food hasn't changed but the interior now resembles more of a modest scale coffeehouse ("It looks like one of those places downtown!" commented one girl coming in for an after school smoothie). I will admit, I do like the new look, but never minded the old one much. Of course, the look of this place isn't why I'm writing. My father and I finally stopped in today after anxiously waiting for the re-"Grand Opening" for a quick bite. He ordered a turkey sandwich on toast while I got a coffee and a dollar's worth of their twinbits (Twin Donut's version of doughnut holes). After a twenty minute wait, there was no sandwich and no twinbits (they're right by the counter, what's taking so long?). When his order finally did come, lo and behold, it's a burger. Wrong order? Fine. I mean, there are like, 3 other people at the restaurant...honest mistake! So, order take two, still no twinbits and the turkey sandwich is finally being prepared. Another twenty minute wait, here we go. Eventually, we took the order to go and I finally got my twinbits -- which no longer look like the precious doughnut holes I remember. They're more like mini doughnut sticks ala Little Debbie. But, whatever, at least they're good. Next time I'll just get doughnuts, no food. Less fuss.

Service was a little icy until I tipped but all-in-all the boston cream rocked and their take on the cro-nut hits the spot (go with the chocolate version). Coffee wasn't incredible but it was pretty damn good for my chilly walk through Inwood Hill Park. This area is amazing during the winter months.

Stale cupcakes, register not working. Very disappointed. Dry hard icing, must be sitting there for a week.

Had a whole wheat donut. It tasted good, even though I put it in my fridge and didn't eat it until like 7 hours later. So I guess all their donuts aren't stale? That's good to know! :D Twin Donuts "Plus" tries to be more than just a Twin Donuts. They are a Twin Donuts PLUS. PLUS a little breakfast style cafe area where they serve.. I said it.. breakfast! as well as soups, sandwiches, quesadillas, tacos, salads.. made-to-order. The meats aren't quality, but you're not really paying for that either. *Just had the quesadilla* It fits what I mean when I talk about the foods blandness. This place could bring in some actual quesadilla sauces like chipotle, guacamole or ranch if they're going to be pushing quesadillas.. but instead its a flat wrap filled with pieces of dry chicken and some ordinary package cheese. I probably wouldn't come here at all if there were other better food joints close by where the food is just as cheap/quick. But I do. I really need to make my own food. :(

We stopped here for breakfast before biking down Broadway to Central Park. My husband had the two-egg breakfast complete with sausages, bacon and possibly the best french toast he's ever had (including mine!). It's a tiny spot but has great food and great, friendly service.

Came because I heard a rumor that this is the only place in NYC you can get a pineapple-filled donut. They were what you would expect, but nothing special. I noticed the Plus part, and that they also offer sandwiches. Next time we were in the area, we came back and ordered a Cuban and a Philly cheesesteak, which I liked much better and would recommend them for that. Great if you're hungry and in the area.

I have never been treated so poorly in any establishment in my life! A group of friends and I met at Twin Donut to grab some food before heading off to an engagment. We grabbed some tables and set our stuff down as we waited for the rest of our friends to arrive. The manager, a very rude elderly man, came out shouting for us to leave when we had only just arrived and hadn't even had time to order. When we did attempt to order he continued to yell at us to leave and that it didn't matter if we ordered food we still couldn't stay on the property. We did nothing to warrant the crazed and irrational behavior. The kind young ladies working under him confirmed that he was a complete jerk as did several locals we ran into in the area. Twin Donut, you will NEVER get my business.

Sorry, but there is no excuse for crap donuts. Doesn't the city already have enough Dunkin Donuts? Do we need another crappy donut maker? If you offered yourselves as an excellent alternative to Dunkin DOnuts, then you'd have a line out the door. As it is, the donuts served here are stale, the variety is low, and the service is terrible. I bought a bag of donuts and they were all stale. Yuck! How can you screw up donuts?

I have many good memories of this joint back in the 80's and 90's. Having had moved to New Jersey, I often wondered what happened to it. I used to sit in there and read the newspaper, chatting with Maurie, the franchise's owner, Joe from Fort Lee, his partner, and Gina Ramirez, a fascinating, intelligent server. The place was like a theater and was filled with fascinating characters, galore. I thought the donuts and the coffee were good, and the parking lot added a suburban normalcy to the place, indeed.

After two plus years of snail-paced renovation (to the point of becoming a neighborhood legend), the ancient and disgusting Twin Donut of years past has finally (re)opened as a gleaming brand-new outpost of baked and fried goodness - Twin Donuts Plus. The store looks fantastic, at least as far as an only-in-New-York knockoff chain store can look. Let's just say that it puts any Kennedy Fried Chicken to shame. Minimum clutter so far, and an interior that is at least as good as Dunkin Donuts circa 1998. The rather barren parking lot is at least freshly paved and now sports a lovely outdoor seating area, probably the best feature of the rebuilt store and something this stretch of Broadway really needed. The store is split into two parts inside -- Donuts on one side, and on the other side is the Plus part: another weird knockoff chain store-within-a-store, "Bahston Subs". You can't make this stuff up. Serves $5 subs and has a nifty retro lunch counter. Perfect for chilling bus drivers on break from the depot across the street. The donuts on the first day were a little stale and mediocre at best. (Hey, it's not Tim Hortons.) But the fact that the store is open 24 hours, serves sandwiches, has that cute seating plaza, and has brought life back to this important corner of Inwood is enough to merit 3 stars at least.

I'm so glad this place is 24 hours, where else would I get my munchies at 3am? But then that makes me wonder was this place just open for a bunch of high teenagers? Probably... but who cares? It's awesome. They also do deliveries I just found out, whenever if you live really close by. Which I do. YAY!!!!

Fairly priced breakfast plates (western omelette, home-fries and meat if you want it). I like the humble picnic tables out front are nice when it's breezy outside. Love the convenience of the parking lot but its small. The 1 train outdoor train track across the way is a bit noisy, but it's impressive to watch clank by while you're eating - very New York-ish.

Open 24 Hours Donuts and sandwiches. Right off the one train corner of 218 and Broadway. Ok may not be the healthiest choice, but really where else are we going to be able to get a egg & cheese sandwich at 2 am? My choice for drunken eats in the wee mornings!

I normally do not write reviews, but I was compelled to do so, as I was so shocked and disgusted by the behavior exhibited by , who I was told is the owner/manager of Twin Donuts. Ive been a resident of this neighborhood for over 5 years, and I remember when this restaurant first opened. Ive been greeted by very pleasant employees, including Saul (one of the cooks), as I buy the occasional croissant and tea from them 1-2x/week. One day, I parked in the lot with the intent of going into the restaurant. As i walked towards the entrance, I saw that I did not have any cash. So instead of using the ATM in the restaurant which is a bit sketchy appearing, I decided to use the ATM in the market next door. As soon as I got next door, this nasty, uncivilized man came in behind me screaming that i need to come and move my car from his lot, and he's called the tow company. He was extremely rude, he wasnt listening and he didnt want to hear that I was on my way into his restaurant anyway. By the time got out to my car, I saw him putting a paper on my windshield indicating that my car was to be towed. We got into a shouting match, I told him Im never coming into his restaurant again and he said he doesnt want me there. I can understand that as the owner/manager of a facility such as this, one has to be diligent about making sure that people do not park there illegally; but there is a way to go about approaching a potential customer. I know and have been a customer in almost all the businesses in the area, and I have never had a problem, big or small, with anyone. Im well-connected in this area, so i have already informed people that this is not where they should spend their money. I feel horrible for the wonderful staff there, as they have to deal with such a horrible individual on a regular basis.
